Grimm's Wooden Spinning Tops Set of 6 - Rainbow Colours

These wooden spinning tops bring timeless, screen-free fun to the playroom, with six rounded tops finished in Grimm's signature rainbow colours. Give one a twist and watch the colour blur as it whirls across the table or floor.

Classic Wooden Spinning Tops for Hands-On Play

Each top is shaped like a small ball with a stem, so children can practise the gentle twisting motion needed to set it spinning. With six bright colours in the set, there is plenty of room for games, races and colour sorting. They look striking lined up in rainbow order and pair beautifully with other Grimm's rainbow pieces.

Why Spinning Tops Are Good for Development

Getting a top to spin takes a precise twist of the fingers, so every attempt strengthens fine motor control and coordination. Watching how long each top spins and why it slows down also introduces early ideas about balance, momentum and cause and effect, all through simple, joyful play.

A Timeless Gift

Spinning tops have entertained children for centuries, and this beautifully finished set makes a thoughtful birthday or stocking gift for children and grandparents to enjoy together.

About Grimm's

Grimm's Spiel und Holz Design is a family-owned company from the Swabian Alps in Germany, crafting colourful, open-ended wooden toys and celebration pieces since 1978. Inspired by Waldorf and Montessori ideas, Grimm's designs leave plenty of room for imagination, with simple shapes and rich colours that invite children to play in their own way. Their pieces are made from sustainably sourced European timber and finished with natural, non-toxic stains that let the grain shine through.
